2012 Election Night: Lauren Compton reports on polling lines

ACCESS TO US AND TELL US HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING. THE WEATHER IS BECOMING A FACTOR IN ALL OF THIS. IT IS A COLD WET RAINY NIGHT. WE ARE GOING TO LAUREN. WHAT DO YOU HAVE FROM THE NEWS ROOM RIGHT NOW. IT IS A LONG WAIT FOR THE VOTERS IN VIRGINIA BEACH. THREE POLLING PLACES WITH LONG LINES TWO HOURS AFTER THE POLLING PLACES ARE CLOSED. I WANT TO LIST THE THREE PLACES WITH A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH LINES, ONE BEING BETTY WILLIAM, AND COLLEGE PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. WE HAVE PICTURES FROM A VOTER AND CALLING IN AND SAYING THEY ARE MOVING THE ELDERLY FOLKS IN. A LOT OF THE ELECTION OFFICIALS I SPOKE WITH SAY THAT WAS THE BEST THEY CAN DO, THE VERY COMPLICATED BALLOT HELD UP THE LINES AND THE HIGH VOTER TURNOUT MADE IT A SLOWER PROCESS. WE TALKED TO SOME OF THE RESIDENTS ON OXYGEN AND OTHERS IN WHEELCHAIRS AND WAITING. THEY TRIED TO EASE THE CONGESTION. WE ARE ALL OVER THE ISSUE. WE HAVE THE CREWS IN THE VIRGINIA BEACH AREA AND TRYING TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS HERE. I HAVE BEEN CALLING THE OFFICIALS AND TRYING TO GET THE UPDATES ON WHAT IS GOING ON.
